Architecture Considerations
In the western development phase of Iran Mall, Iran's tallest commercial-administrative tower, exceeding 300 meters in height, is under construction to provide a luxurious, equipped, and smart environment for major national and international companies. The tower's sections will include floors dedicated to administrative, commercial, restaurant, parking, and utility-service spaces.
The ten basement levels of the complex, designated for parking, cover an area exceeding 426,000 square meters, with a capacity for approximately 4,400 vehicles. The concrete volume used in the concrete parking structure with waffle slabs totals 255,000 cubic meters, while the total weight of steel used in the podium section is approximately 10,500 tons.
Engineering Considerations
The structural design of the Iran Mall International Commercial-Financial Tower was carried out by the renowned company WSP. The excavation for this project, with a volume of 2,600,000 cubic meters over a construction area exceeding 50,000 square meters, is unparalleled among similar projects. Wall stabilization was achieved over an area of 50,000 square meters using anchoring and nailing techniques. In the execution of the tower foundation with dimensions of 4×65×65 meters and a concrete pour volume of 17,000 cubic meters, the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous concrete pour was registered at 5 days, 4 hours, and 11 minutes. In the foundation piling section, a total of 177 piles with an average depth of 40 meters were executed, consisting of 96 piles with a diameter of 120 cm and 81 piles with a diameter of 150 cm. In this section, the total excavated soil volume was 10,544 cubic meters, and the total concrete pour volume for the piles was 12,585 cubic meters.
- World Record for Continuous Foundation Concrete Pouring: A foundation with a volume of 17,000 cubic meters, the world's longest continuous concrete pour (5 days, 4 hours, and 11 minutes) in Guinness.
- Massive and precise foundation piles: 177 pile rings with an average depth of 40 meters, including 96 piles with a diameter of 120 cm and 81 piles with a diameter of 150 cm, with a concrete volume of 12,585 cubic meters.
- Record-breaking excavation and stabilization: Excavation volume of 2,600,000 cubic meters in an area of more than 50,000 square meters and stabilization of walls with anchoring and nailing techniques.
- Massive and advanced concrete and metal structure: Using 255,000 cubic meters of concrete in the Waffle roofs and approximately 10,500 tons of metal structure in the podium section.
- The tallest commercial-administrative tower in Iran: more than 300 meters high with office, commercial, restaurant, parking, and service-institutional spaces.
- Massive underground parking: Ten basement floors with an area of 426,000 square meters and a capacity of about 4,400 cars.
