Architecture Considerations

The eastern parking lots of Iran Mall have been constructed over 6 main floors and 3 mezzanine levels in direct connection with the commercial floors to ensure that all visitors can access their vehicles in the shortest possible time. This section provides a total capacity for approximately 4,000 vehicles in standard and VIP classes. In addition to parking, it accommodates the hotel's utility and service spaces, including the industrial kitchen and laundry, mechanical rooms, and electrical substations.

Engineering Considerations

The parking floors are primarily constructed using concrete structures and 9-meter-long prestressed hollow-core precast slabs manufactured in a factory to maximize execution speed while maintaining strength and quality. Fire suppression systems, comprising both automatic (sprinkler) and manual (fire hose cabinets) components, have been executed using seamless galvanized steel pipes with threaded and grooved fittings to ensure higher system durability and minimal maintenance requirements. Ventilation in these parking areas utilizes the most modern exhaust fans and intelligent jet fans for smoke extraction, controlled by carbon monoxide sensors, to maintain optimal air quality under normal conditions and effective smoke evacuation during fire incidents, while keeping energy consumption within acceptable limits.

Features:
  • Highly durable fire safety: Implementation of automatic and manual fire extinguishing systems with seamless galvanized steel pipes and durable connections, with minimal maintenance requirements.
  • Simultaneous operation and maintenance design: Selecting systems and materials with the approach of increasing the useful life of equipment and reducing long-term operating costs.
  • Smart parking ventilation system: Using smart jet fans and exhaust fans controlled by carbon monoxide sensors to maintain air quality and reduce energy consumption.
  • Concrete structure with precast prestressed ceilings: Using 9-meter precast hollowcore ceilings with prestressed execution increases the strength of the structure and speeds up the construction process.
  • Consolidation of hotel support spaces: Establishment of facility and service spaces including an industrial kitchen, laundry, engine rooms, and electrical substations in the parking complex.
